The B.C. Safety Authority (BCSA) will making public tomorrow a report related to an "electrical incident" at the Babine Forest Products sawmill, destroyed in an explosion and fire on Jan. 20.
The BCSA's safety manager, Stephen Hinde, will hold a technical briefing on the report via teleconference.
Hinde is a professional electrical engineer with over 30 years experience in industrial installations and is a member of the National Committee for Electrical Safety.
The BCSA was among the agencies brought in to seek a cause of the disaster, which left two workers dead and a further another 19 injured, some with major burns.
The BCSA oversees safety for installation and use of such technical equipment as electrical systems, gas, boiler, pressure vessels and refrigeration system.
