Need a little fun in your day? Being left out of the water cooler talk or shunned in the lunchroom? Do your kids and your dog look at you as if to wonder how you even put your pants on in the morning?

Worry no more as you can be the bubbly centre of the water cooler chat, the linguistic leader in the lunchroom. Your children will look at you with newfound respect - even if your pants are on backwards - and your dog will pick up his own poop as you bring your tenacity as a proverb ending, caption-creating king to the your home and the office with The Citizen's new features What's The Caption and Finish The Proverb.

Each Tuesday, starting Jan. 7, The Citizen will post an odd-looking photo on page 2, and on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pgcitizen and your job is to provide us with your best, most clever or silliest caption to go with the photo. There are no holds barred, just remember, they need to be family friendly as we will be publishing the best, worst and also rans on page 2 of The Citizen each Monday.

The in-crowd at work are sure to burst into laughter at your witty proverb endings as you harness the powers of the hidden talent you didn't know you had with Finish The Proverb in Wednesday's Citizen and on our Facebook page. Then watch the following Monday's paper for the best, worst and also rans on page 2.

Please make sure to leave your name with your photo caption and witty proverb ending so when you see your name in print on Monday you can cut it out, put it on the fridge and lord it over the little rugrats as you parade around the house wearing your proverb crown and caption winning cape, even if you have to reach around to your backside to pull up your zipper.

Please send your captions and proverb endings to [email protected] with either Photo Caption or Proverb in the subject line.
