This is the 12th year the construction association has held a fundraiser at their Christmas party. The first year $950 was raised for a Needy Family Campaign, and the amount has increased each year.

This year, the following charities are recipients for the association's fundraising dollars: Seniors Tea, PGCA Denture & Assistive Device Fund for Seniors, Christian Life Centre, St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, Food Hampers for Seniors, Goodie Trays for residents at Alward Place, Laurier Manor, Parkside and Rainbow Lodge Intermediate Care Homes, Prince George Hospice House, and Healthiest Babies Possible Program.

"The commitment and dedication of our members supporting our annual Christmas fundraiser is outstanding. It really demonstrates the positive impact the construction industry has on our community" says Rosalind Thorn, president of the association.
