A 53-year-old Vancouver man was arrested at the Prince George Airport on Tuesday morning after three batons were found in his luggage as he was going through security check.
Two were retractable and one was wooden, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said, and the man faces three counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Police, who were called to the scene at about 9:30 a.m., seized the weapons and the man was taken into police custody.
Last month, two novelty marijuana grinders in the shape of hand grenades were confiscated from a passenger at the airport, which had to be evacuated for a time before it was determined they were not real explosives.
