ICYMI: Get your car cleaned and eat a burger while raising funds for Prince George Hospice

It's the time of year to get your car washed and enjoy some good BBQ eats... even during Prince George's recent wet weather.

Well, this coming weekend, you'll have a chance to do both while raising funds for a major society. 

Norgate Autobody Ltd., PG Auto Sales and White Goose Bistro are teaming up on Sunday (Aug. 23) to raise funds for the Prince George Hospice Society with a car wash and BBQ event. 

It'll take place at Norgate's office on First Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the BBQ being lit at 11 a.m.

White Goose Bistro Chef Ryan Cyre will be behind the grill. 

Both the car wash and BBQ are by donation with a minimum of $5.

All proceeds from the three-team fundraiser will go directly to the Hospice Society.
