Prince Rupert RCMP are investigating after human remains were found in a park in the town on B.C.'s northwest coast.
On Thursday around noon, Prince Rupert RCMP with the assistance of the Terrace RCMP dog section located a shoe and piece of clothing. Police conducted a further search of the area, and located some human remains.
The B.C. Coroners Service is working with the RCMP to identify the decease person, and determine a cause of death.
