Human remains have been found in the aftermath of a Hixon home destroyed in a fire over the weekend.
Investigators sifting through the site found the remains on Monday.
No evidence to support a homicide investigation was uncovered and the matter has been handed over to the B.C. Coroners Service, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said.
Firefighters and RCMP had responded to a report of the blaze on Saturday just before 3 p.m.
Hixon is located about 60 kilometres south of Prince George.
