There were starts on 15 single family homes in Prince George and surrounding area in June, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
The total matches the amount reached in the same month last year.
The year-to-date total now stands at 53, compared to 48 by the same point last year.
There were just two starts on multiple family units in June, way down from 50 units in June 2013. The year-to-date total on that front now stands at just five, compared to 105 by midway through 2013.
