One of six people in a residence in the 100 block of McLean Drive was taken to hospital late Tuesday night with undetermined burns after more than a dozen firefighters responded to the call of a house fire.
The call came in around 11 p.m. As crews arrived at the scene thick black smoke was coming from the basement and front door of the home.
It did not take long to extinguish the flames and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Estimated damage could be as much as $150,000.
