In keeping with May being Hospice Month, a local company found a great way to recognize the end-of-life work done by Prince George Rotary Hospice House.
"Info Pages donated $100 for each business name in our white pages that is highlighted in yellow," said president Deryl Truman.
"The total $5,000 donation is in support of them keeping their doors open. Hospice House does good work here, but we know it's a financial struggle for them," Truman said.
"So we wanted to help out such a good cause."
Donalda Carson, executive director of Hospice Society, said she is most grateful for Info Pages generosity.
"The $5,000 donation will not only support our work at Rotary Hospice House, but contribute to the experience of families and guests by helping us provide an atmosphere of respect and compassion,"
"Our mission is to provide care and relieve suffering, whether it is physical or emotional, to anyone who is facing advanced chronic or life-threatening illness," said Carson.
