Tickets are now on sale for a lottery benefiting palliative care.
The Prince George Hospice Society's 2013 Dream Home Lottery and 50/50 Lottery will be open until November.
This year's grand prize, built by Rise Construction, is 1,936 square foot dream home featuring two appliances, a moving package, a dish set from Dandy Lines, Telus Optik TV and a Curtis Elite security system.
Located at 7693 Stillwater Cres. in College Heights (in the Creekside subdivision at the end of Malaspina Avenue), the home is open to viewing every day between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets are $100 each, with 8,999 available. The last day to purchase tickets is 5 p.m. on Nov. 15, with the draw taking place at 8 p.m. the same date.
The first early bird draw will be this Thursday at 8 p.m. Those who purchase tickets before 5 p.m. on June 13 will be eligible for a two-person stay at the Hills Health Ranch in 108 Mile.
For $20, supporters can also purchase 50/50 tickets, of which 10,000 are available. Depending on how many tickets are sold, the total potential cash prize is up to $100,000. Tickets will be on sale until Nov. 7 at 5 p.m., with the draw at 8 p.m. the same date.
