Lynda Struthers was the second early bird winner in the Hospice Dream Home Lottery, winning a $1,000 gift card to Canadian Tire on Thursday.
The lottery is in full swing, with another early bird draw set for July 11, when a $1,000 gift card to Save-on-Foods will be up for grabs.
The big prize this year is a 1,936 square foot home located at 7693 Stillwater Crescent in the Creekside subdivision. Built by Rise Construction, the home comes equipped with two appliances, Telus Optik television service, a security system with six months of monitoring from Curtis Elite, a set of dishes from DandyLines and a moving package. The home is open for viewing daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at the prize home, the Hospice Society office, Canadian Tire, Northern Hardware or Hart Drugs. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at 1-866-419-7604. There are 8,999 tickets available and the grand prize draw will be held Nov. 14.
The Hospice Society is also holding a 50/50 draw with a possible grand prize of $100,000, with the draw set for Nov. 7.
