Two men were sentenced Monday for their roles in a home invasion last year.

Cole Vid Lambert, 20, and Derek Glenn Domeij, 34, were both sentenced in provincial court to eight months in jail for break and enter with intent to commit an offence and disguising their faces with an intent to commit an offence.

The convictions stem from a April 25, 2011 break-in and robbery of a home in the 1400 block of Nation Crescent.

Police said four men with large edged weapons and bats entered the house where there were three residents. One resident was able to scare off the attackers and call police and no one was injured.

Murphy John George, 28, Aaron James Morin, 21, Lambert and Domeij were arrested near 15th Avenue and Central Street a short time later.

In April, George was sentenced to three years in jail for break and enter with intent to commit an offence and to one year in jail for disguising his face.

Charges against Morin were stayed.
