Highway 16 East will remain at a single lane alternating 23 kilometres east of Slim Creek as authorities continue to monitor a slide that has caused half of one lane to settle about six inches.

Highway 16 East will remain at a single lane alternating 23 kilometres east of Slim Creek as authorities continue to monitor a slide that has caused half of one lane to settle about six inches.

The stretch has been down to one lane since Tuesday, a day after crews had finished clearing up the effects of a mud slide on the highway, west of of the junction with Highway 5.
