If you're heading southbound out of Prince George, or northbound into the city tonight, you'll need to find a detour.
Drive BC is reporting that Highway 97 is completely closed in both directions as of 6:30 p.m. at its intersection with Holmes Road in the Pineview area.
This is due to an apparent vehicle incident.
There's currently no estimated time of reopening, according to the provincial service, and it's also unknown if anyone was injured.
At this time, Drive BC recommends detouring through Holmes Road to the Old Cariboo Highway.
