A stretch of Highway 16 just west of Vanderhoof has been reopened following a vehicle incident.
It had occurred late this morning at Noon-La Road and had left the site closed for a matter of hours, DriveBC indicated.
Other than to say it appeared serious, North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said she had no details to provide.
At one point, DriveBC initially said the scene could remain closed until as late at 11 p.m.
Meanwhile, traffic is back up to single-lane alternating near Dome Creek east of Prince George after a logging truck dumped half its load onto the road.
It did so after it contacted a tractor hauling an empty low boy trailer and ended up on its side, McBride RCMP said.
