Environment Canada is warning of "dime to nickel size hail and heavy rain" in advising that a severe thunderstorm is expected to hit parts of Highway 16 West between Vanderhoof and Prince George within the next 30 minutes.
The warning, an update of one issued earlier today, was issued at 2:24 p.m.
"The storm is moving towards the northeast at 50 km/h," meteorologists added in the warning.
