The Prince George RCMP used a hands-on exhibit to help people learn about how and why "carhoppers" target their parked vehicles.
Thieves will check for visible items of value that can be quickly stolen. Spot the Target, held in conjunction with ICBC, offered an example of that Wednesday at Pine Centre Mall. Visitors were given the chance to see how many things could be spotted inside a parked car.
Participants had their names entered into a draw.
