Police are on the lookout for a suspect after three visitors received a scare outside a Prince George hotel Thursday morning.
The two men and one woman were waiting outside the Coast Inn of the North on Brunswick Street when a lone male pulled what they believed to be a black handgun from his waistband.
He waved the item around before placing it back in his waistband and carrying on down the sidewalk.
Despite a quick response, RCMP, who were called to the scene at about 8 a.m., were not able to locate the suspect.
He is described as Caucasian, about 55 years old, 178 cm (5'10") with a thin build and wearing blue jeans, winter boots, a ball cap, sunglasses and a black "varsity" style jacket with lighter coloured sleeves
