A Prince George man has pleaded guilty to four counts of employment insurance fraud.
Robert Christopher Geisler, 53, entered the pleas Wednesday in Prince George provincial court in relation to incidents that began in mid-January 2011 and ended near the end of August 2011.
Geisler collected EI while working, according to the charges as read out.
In all, he collected $11,600 over that time and has since paid back $8,600, the court was told.
Sentencing was delayed until a pre-sentence report has been completed. Personal issues were behind Geisler's decision to make the false claims, the court heard.
