During the last online poll, the Citizen asked readers what they would like to see in the space that Target will be vacating at the Pine Centre Mall. Apparently very few people want to see another restaurant come to town and a grocery store would be welcomed.

Here's how it broke down.

Only 61 people voted for a restaurant to take over the space, with a total of five per cent of the vote. A giant discount book store was close with 111 people voting to take nine per cent of the vote. A movie theatre peaked some people's interest with 260 people voting in favour, taking 21 per cent of the vote. A home decor store seemed to inspire 312 votes, taking 25 per cent of the vote and the grocery store idea had 505 votes for a resounding 40 per cent of the vote. All told there were 1,249 people who voted.
