A combination of government support and revenue earned during the 2003 wildfires has delivered a new hall for the Beaverly Volunteer Fire Department five years ahead of schedule.
With the help of a red ribbon and scissors wielded by Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond, electoral area B (Chilako River-Nechako) director Lara Beckett and Beavery VFD chief Bruce Perrin the building was officially opened on Friday.
