GoByBike Week in Prince George asks residents to hit the road on smaller wheels

Powered by any little wheels counts, including bikes, trikes, rollerblades and scooters.

Pedal some kilometres during the week to win great prizes and you only need to ride your bike once to enter the draw.

This year's Spring GoByBike Week grand prize takes you to the Netherlands: Pearls of Holland is a self-guided cycling adventure for two sponsored by Exodus Travels.

Monday, May 30 – 7 to 9 a.m. free kick-off breakfast at the Canada Games Plaza sponsored by HBH Land Surveying.

Tuesday, May 31 – 7 to 9 a.m. at Royal LePage offices, 1625 Fourth Ave. and 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Cycle Logic, 1443 Third Ave.

The Cycle Logic event is followed by group poker rides for all levels. Meet at Crossroads Brewing following the rides for a refreshing beverage, and see if

you have the winning poker hand to win a $700 Garmin bike computer.

Wednesday, June 1 – 7 to 9 a.m. at Koops Bike Shop, 1659 Nicholson St. and 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Ruckus Skis Boards & Bikes, 2629 Vance Road.

Thursday, June 2 – 7 to 9 a.m. at Northern Regional Construction Association, 3851 18th Ave., sponsored by Evolve Bike.

Friday, June 3 – 7 to 9 a.m. at Interior Savings, 879 Victoria Street and 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Crossroads Brewing, 508 George Street.

Log any and all bike rides at GoByBikeBC.ca to enter the prize draw, track your progress, and see how many greenhouse gas emissions you offset and calories you burn.

Do you use STRAVA? You can also link your GoByBike account with your STRAVA account so every time you ride using STRAVA, your bike rides are automatically logged in your GoByBike account and you are entered into the prize draws.
