Relatives of a Prince George man suffering from a rare brain infection are holding a fundraiser on Sunday to help supplement his family's income during his recovery.
Christopher Courtice is hospitalized with the ailment, which has prevented him from working. His aunt Dori-Lyn Johnson is organizing a fundraising event on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the College Heights Pub to help the family deal with day-to-day expenses.
The event will feature a raffle, with prizes including gift baskets and a gift certificate from the White Goose Bistro to an overnight stay for two, plus breakfast at the Coast Inn of the North. Other local businesses have also contributed prizes.
Donations to the family will also be accepted.
