From axe-handle to hammer.

Prince George RCMP have arrested the man who assaulted another male with an axe handle on March 1 in a residence on Upland Street. The 40-year-old, who has 53 previous criminal convictions, was arrested Wednesday at about 9 p.m.

Prince George RCMP have arrested the man who assaulted another male with an axe handle on March 1 in a residence on Upland Street.

The 40-year-old, who has 53 previous criminal convictions, was arrested Wednesday at about 9

p.m. after he entered Valu Village with a hammer, threatened staff, smashed a display case and left with several items. The man was held to appear in court Thursday.

Police say the Uplands Street incident was drug related.
