The council has expanded to eight members as the first nation's population grows

The newly re-elected chief and the eight members of the expanded Lheidli T’enneh First Nation council were sworn in Saturday, May 3 at the House of Ancestors.

Chief Dolleen Logan will be joined around the council table by councillors Doug Olson, Kyle McIntosh, Tasheena Seymour, Crystal Gibbs, Jamie Bird, Clay Pountney and Dominic Frederick.

The council has grown from five councillors to eight after recent increases in the Lheidli T'enneh's population.

During the ceremony, City of Prince George Coun. Susan Scott, acting mayor for the day, and Coun. Garth Frizzell were on to present formal congratulations from the city to the new council.
