The Prince George Airport is under a freezing rain warning.
In a statement issued around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, the airport authority advised anyone flying into or out of Prince George on Friday to check the airport's website (www.pgairport.ca/) for potential delays.
As of 11:30 a.m. on Friday, only WestJet's 11:05 a.m. flight to Vancouver was showing delays.
In addition, New Year's Day is a busy travel day, so the airport authority advised passengers to arrive 90 minutes before their scheduled flight to ensure they have time to clear security.
