Scores of mourners crowded into New Stellaquo Hall in Stellaquo shortly after 1 p.m. to remember the life of an eight year boy killed near Francois Lake.

Luke William Steiner died after a falling tree struck him while he walked on trail with his family last Tuesday. He was brought into a hall in a wooden casket crafted by his father Ray and signed by his friends.

"He grew so much over the years," said his Aunt Mary.

As mourners filed into the hall, they were asked to make donations to Luke`s Haiti Fund, which child set up after the January natural disaster.More coverage to follow.
