During the annual FrancoFun Winter Festival hosted by Cercle des Canadiens Français (French Canadian Association) of Prince George Saturday morning festivities started with a hearty Canadian breakfast at St. Mary's School on Gillett Street with some entertainment, an opportunity to participate in a silent auction for a variety of gift baskets and later on guests could take in the hammering contest and the cross-cut saw demonstrations held outside on this sunny day while enjoying the traditional maple syrup snow candy treat.
