Clare Singleton has been named the first-ever artist in residence at the Fort St. James National Historic Site.

A Victoria native, Singleton will be working on site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this summer and will hold three workshops in August and September. The park will also display her work during special event weekends throughout the summer.

Funded through Parks Canada, the goal of the artist in residence program is to generate public awareness about the site through art.
