As many as 1,500 flags will be flying around the city when the bid committee for the Canada Winter Games comes to Prince George later this some - thanks to a $3,400 contribution from Pacific BioEnergy.
The money will by 1,000 hand flags and 500 car flags to help show why Prince George should be chosen to host the Games when they come to British Columbia in 2015. Kamloops and Kelowna are the two other competing cities.
