The woman who died in a house fire on the outskirts of Prince George earlier this week has been identified as Shannon Parsons, 28, the B.C. Coroners Service said Thursday.
Parsons was rescued from the home in the 6100 block of Dave Road after emergency personnel were called to the scene on Monday shortly after 11 a.m., but she died in hospital later the same day.
The North District RCMP major crimes unit was called in to investigate the incident but no evidence of foul play has yet been found, the Coroners Service said.
Dave Road is located off Blackwater Road southwest of the city.
