One person was sent to hospital with smoke inhalation after a house fire in the 9000 block of Inglewood Road was reported to Prince George Fire Rescue Sunday at 11:20 p.m.
When 17 firefighters from three halls arrived on scene the house was fully engulfed in flames.
One occupant was home at the time of the fire and was awakened by a smoke detector.
Fire damage was extensive and cause is still unknown.
Crews were on scene for hours putting out the blaze and protecting surrounding buildings located on the property.
There were no injuries to firefighters and value of damage is not known at this time.
