There was a fire on Red Rock Road West on Monday night about 10:37 and when police were called to assist the Prince George fire department they discovered more than 7,000 marihuana plants with an estimated street value in the millions of dollars.
The fire was caused by a diesel generator.
RCMP located the plants in various stages of growth and an assortment of growing equipment was seized.
Police required the use of a five-ton truck to transport the plants and material seized at the property. The investigation continues.
