Prince George Fire Rescue crews were called to an early-morning house fire in the 2100 block of Victoria Street on Monday, according to information released by the City of Prince George.
Just after 4 a.m., crews responded to the report of a structure fire and found smoke coming from the eaves of the house.
Crews quickly put out the fire in the home’s interior. Damage to the house was estimated at $30,000.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation, as of Monday.
