No one was injured in a house fire in the 300 block of Wainwright St. on April 9.
At 2:20 p.m., firefighters were called to the home and found the house, located near Watrous Park, filled with smoke, according to information released by the City of Prince George on Tuesday.
“A rapid response from Fire Rescue crews limited the damage to the building and kept the fire contained the room of origin,” a City of Prince George statement said.
Damage to the home was estimated at $50,000 and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
