Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls were called to fight a structure fire in the 8200 block of Malaspina Avenue Monday afternoon.
Firefighters arriving at the home found a residence with light smoke exiting the basement door. A fast attack by crews quickly knocked down the blaze.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and the damage is estimated at $75,000.
There were no injuries to the public or fire personnel.
