The hot, dry conditions, along with gusty winds are expected to increase fire activity both in the Cariboo Fire Centre and the Prince George Fire Centre.
The largest of the 66 new fires that have started since Tuesday in the Prince George area is located east of Tatuk Lake, about 55 kilometres south of Vanderhoof. It is estimated at 140 hectares in size.
