Summer is the perfect time to create a cute meet, which is the tale people tell of how they met their significant other.

There's romance retreats, singles mingles, speed dating and now there's read dating at the library.

Earlier this year the library hosted a read dating for singles under 40 and the feedback from the public asked 'why only for the younger people?'

So by popular demand, the library is holding a series of events for the slightly older single person.

Read Dating 55+ takes place Thursday, June 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bob Harkins branch.

Read Dating for 40 to 55 years takes place Thursday, July 31 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bob Harkins branch.

Read Dating for 30 to 45 years takes place Thursday, August 28 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bob Harkins branch.

Registration is free and limited to 40 single people at each event. Efforts will be made to ensure gender parity. Registration is required by calling the Adult Info Desk at 563-9251, ext. 141.
