Finance Minister Carole James is coming to Prince George to talk about the new provincial budget.
A roundtable will be hosted by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce at which the public can personally attend.
It will be held at the Coast Inn of the North.
"As the local Chamber of Commerce, it is imperative that we provide current and future members with the opportunity to engage politicians at all levels of government," said Todd Corrigall, CEO of the local Chamber.
"This is a unique opportunity for the business community to ask the questions that are top of mind, gaining a clear understanding of the 2018 Budget by discussing them directly with Minister James."
James - a longtime provincial politician, onetime leader of the governing NDP and with personal ties to this area - made Prince George a quick appointment after Tuesday's fiscal plan was unveiled.
"Budget 2018 balances the needs and priorities of British Columbians with the fiscal prudence that marks B.C. as an economic leader in Canada," said James.
"It sets B.C. on a path to shared prosperity for everyone in our province with a made-in-B.C. child care plan, a comprehensive housing plan and record levels of capital investment in every corner of the province."
With a roundtable format, seating is limited.
It begins at 11:30 a.m.
