Celebrate food, drink and good times - all from the Prince George horn o' plenty.
The organizers of Feast PG are calling next week's event "a five-day party in your mouth" based out of Home Sweet Home Grocery. It starts Wednesday.
"Feast PG is an excellent opportunity to showcase food culture in downtown Prince George with fun and informative events," said HSH owner Laura Sapergia. "A major goal of Home Sweet Home Grocery is to make food and food culture more accessible in our community. We've been inspired by events like Vancouver's and Edmonton's Hawker's Market, or Bon Appetit's Feast Portland, and really wanted to bring those types of events to Northern B.C."
This foodie party will combine events "that celebrate P.G. and B.C. food and drink with the bursting culture in Downtown PG," she said.
Events include a premier wine and cheese night, a beer tasting, cocktail class, informative workshops and panels, as well as other downtown events and music, culminating in an all-star urban farm tour and a farmtotable dinner.
