Three people died Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 West near Jutland Road.
The accident involved six occupants in the two vehicles. Three were found deceased by RCMP, BC Ambulance and Prince George Fire Rescue which attended the scene.
The remaining three occupants were transported to University Hospital of Northern B.C. with unknown injuries.
Police are releasing no further details about the occupants at this time.
The BC Coroner's Service with assistance from the RCMP continue to investigate this tragic collision. More information will be released once details are confirmed.

Highway 16 where the collision occurred was closed for several hours, but a detour route for travellers was in place.
