Highway 97 was closed 30 km south of McLeod Lake for much of Tuesday as policed investigated a fatal head-on collision between a logging truck and a car, according to North District RCMP.
No further details were available as of late Tuesday afternoon.
There was also a head on between a transport truck and a car on Highway 16, 49 km east of Valemount but there were not injuries.
