B.C. Liberal leadership candidate Kevin Falcon said this morning he would establish a regional premier's office in Prince George.
The office would be used to interact with people in northern B.C., and would reverse the practice of people having to travel south to get an audience with the premier, he said.
Falcon added he would commit to being in the office from time to time, and would expect his cabinet ministers to do the same.
He said it is important to do so because 60 per cent of the province's wealth is generated outside the Lower Mainland.
