The numbers are in and the Citizen's online poll participants determined there should be more four-lane sections between Prince George and Cache Creek as well as wider sections of Highway 16 between Prince George and Prince Rupert.

The question was this: the province plans to spend $2.5 billion over the next 10 years on transportation. Where should they be spending that money in the region?

The results were 32 per cent of online readers thought more four-lane sections between Prince George and Cache Creek were in order, for a total of 211 votes. A close second with 29 per cent of the votes is widening several sections of Highway 16 between P.G. and Prince Rupert, with a total of 192 votes. Following close behind with 26 per cent of the votes was improving highway maintenance, especially in winter months, with a total of 172 votes. Lagging behind was improving Pine Pass for heavy truck traffic at 11 per cent, and a total of 70 votes. Improving airport infrastructure got a dismal two per cent of the vote for a total of 16 votes. All in all 661 people voted. Remember this is not a scientific poll.

Next up is a little less serious. The poll question is: Marilyn Manson plays CN Centre in Prince George on Tuesday. What's your favorite Marilyn Manson song?
