The weather is a fickle friend, as the Weather Network predicted Tuesday that Prince George should expect an accumulation of up to 50 cm of snow over the next four days. Now Environment Canada has a more modest prediction and offers a snowfall warning for Prince George.

About 15 cm is expected as a Pacific warm front brings snow into the Central Interior tonight.

It will snow Thursday throughout the day with more anticipated for Friday.

Be careful on the roads as visibility may be reduced at times due to heavy snow fall.

The Citizen will keep you posted as Environment Canada meteorologists update the alerts.
