Schools might be closed due to the strike, but that's not stopping final provincial exams from taking place.
Provincial exams will be held starting today and ending on June 24 in School District 57's secondary schools.
Busses will be running on those days, but only for those students that are taking an exam. The pick up time in the morning will remain the same, while in the afternoon the buses leave the school at 4:15.
Teachers are required to supervise and mark the provincial exams after the Labour Relations Board ruled in favour of the provincial government's position that they were an essential service.
