Four events are scheduled for victims of crime awareness week in Prince George beginning with a tea and talk at Books and Company this afternoon, 2 to 4 p.m.

Everyone interested in the field of victim services or those who have experienced victimization are invited to attend and talk with representatives of all the victim services agencies at once over a cup of tea. Books and Company is located at 1685 3rd Avenue.

On Tuesday, New Hope Society will host Masks No More, an art workshop in which masks will be made depicting the many faces of domestic violence that cause women to feel shame and embarrassment. The New Hope Society is located at 1046 4th Avenue.

On Thursday, Sujata Warrier, director of the New York City office for the prevention of domestic violence will host a day-long workshop and that evening, will be a keynote speaker at a victim services awards and appreciation banquet.

Rosalind Currie, provincial director of the office to combat trafficking in persons will also be a speaker.
