Enbridge Inc. has countered the interpretation of a recent Angus Reid poll that showed that nearly half of British Columbians are not in favour of its proposed $5.5-billion pipeline through northern B.C.
The survey of more than 800 British Columbians earlier this month, showed that 35 per cent of those polled support the project. Another 17 per cent were undecided, and 48 per cent said they were opposed to the project, called the Northern Gateway pipeline.
Enbridge is taking the view the glass is half full, as opposed to half empty, said Enbridge spokesman Alan Roth.
