Emily Carr should go on Canadian bills, poll says

The last Prince George Citizen poll asked "Which Canadian woman would you like to see featured first on our currency?" A resounding 49 per cent of voters thought Emily Carr would make a fine choice, with 244 votes.

The last Prince George Citizen poll asked "Which Canadian woman would you like to see featured first on our currency?"

A resounding 49 per cent of voters thought Emily Carr would make a fine choice, with 244 votes.

Coming in at 20 per cent was Laura Secord with 101 votes, while Bridget Moran took 11 per cent for a total of 56 votes. Roberta Bondar trailed with 10 per cent, for a total of 48 votes, while Nancy Greene quietly skied her way straight to nine per cent with 45 votes.

There was a total of 494 votes. Please remember this is not a scientific poll.

The next Citizen poll question is "What should be done to make the Ancient Forest a better tourist attraction, now that it's a provincial park?"
